Top 10 Is It Twins? 10 Signs That You're Having Twins/Multiples
1) Ultrasound Confirmation
2) Doppler Heartbeat Count
3) Elevated HcG Levels
4) Abnormal AFP Test Results
5) Measuring Large for Gestational Age
6) Weight Gain
7) Excessive Morning Sickness
8) Early/Frequent Fetal Movement
9) Extreme Fatigue
10) History/Hunches- While the other items in this list refer to some kind of visible evidence -- exaggerated symptoms, abnormal test results, etc. -- we can't disregard the power of a mother's intuition. A family history of multiples, or a powerful hunch can be convincing indicators. Follow up with your doctor about these feelings.

I just had twins in June, and the symptoms are the exact same... The only way to tell for sure is with a sonogram... You can also go by the measurements they do on your belly, but if you are having a big baby then that does no good...

Sometimes a higher hcg level on a blood test could indicate the possibility of twins. An ultrasound will show if you are expecting twins.

Symptoms would be the same, the only way to find out early on that you are having twins is an ultrasound.

I think if you are pregnant with twins your hcg levels are higher in the beginning of pregnancy, but the only way to tell for sure is to have an ultrasound done, or if the doctor hears more than one heartbeat.

I don't think their are certain symptoms to if you are having twins I think it is just like any other pregnancy, you might be bigger than usual though, but don't go off of that always cause I was pretty big, my belly and everyone always would say your gonna have twins but I just had one big baby, it shocked me though cause my doc said I was going to have a tiny baby for how small I was but he was the complete opposite.

I believe the symptoms are the same as if you were having just one baby. Doctors sometimes can't even tell that you are pregnant with twins even if they use a sonogram.

When I was preg. with my first set of twins I was dizzy at first. Somedays I would have a bad headache. Oh and the cramps especially on my left side for two or three hours at a time!
I spent lots of time off of my feet with those two!
Good Luck

The most tell-tale symptom is a sonogram that shows two embryos!
