If its a rabbit yes.

If its a rabbit yes.... carrots are like sweets for rabbits... along with fruits.... carrots have a relatively high sugar content(for rabbits) .... and to many can cause them to gain weight and become unhealthy. Carrots should be used as a treat.

I give my rabbits : pellets,a big plate of mixed greens( most leafy green are fine, you can go to http://www.adoptarabbit.com/articles/toxic.html for a list of toxic plants for rabbits ) and plenty of hay.. your rabbit should have unlimited hay.., I also give them apples, carrots, grapes, raisins, dried cranberries (which they love) , once a day or every other day, as treats.
Hope that helps...

I only give my rabbit 1 carrot a day (small rabbit = small carrot). He gets regular pellets and fresh water every day and hay every day too.

too much snack food is never a good thing. For any animal. Do some research and find out what a balanced diet is for the animal in question and feed them that with only occasional snacks.

I'm sure there's a lot of people here at yahoo answers that would and could love to help you but a tad more information would be appreciated. Mainly, what kind of animal are you talking about?
