my advise is that if you are 13 and below, it would be okay for you to wear that because people in the funeral will think you are a child, but, if you arent, its really not okay for you to wear... people will really take you badly... love ya, and follow my advise!!!

It depends on what kind of ceremony it will be. It's alway best to keep it somewhat dressy...but if you're close friends with the family and you know everyone else will be casual then you can do it...just dress it up with a nice dark top, black or navy blue and make up. Otherwise, if you hate skirts or dresses, grab a pair of nice black or navy pants and top to go with it. Sorry for your loss.

I would not, you can but others may look at you as if you are bieng disrespectful. Funerals are hard enough for many. Just to be on the safe side wear something formal and dark colored prefferably.
Good Luck!

Well I think jeans would be considered disrespectful of the dead. You should wear black. IIf you can't afford something new go to a thrift store.

Wow, are people really that morbid and afraid of death? How is it disrespectful wearing jeans??! The person is no longer here and cannot see you, but surely they'd want you to be yourself and be comfortable. Funerals are 'supposed' to be a celebration of someone's life, I'd want mine to be a joyous occassion cos I'm not here suffering - I'm living it large! But I'd be careful not to wear them with too many holes or any patches, etc. that might offend people.
Put the 'fun' back in funeral:)

ummmm definitely not! Go for basic black and dress up a little by wearing a skirt, dress, or dress pants.

No, that wouldn't be very appropriate. Wear a black (modest) skirt or slacks, and a nice black top.
