No, I wouldn't. Knowledge of the destiny of my soul is not important. How I've lived my life on earth is what really matters. I've tried to be the best person I could possibly be - impeccable with my word, compassionate, loving, benevolent, hardworking and spirited. I am at peace with how I lived my life and consequently, with the fate of my soul.

If I knew for certain what would happen to my "soul" when I died, i.e. that there actually was a soul and I would live after I died I would definitely live my life differently. I don't think that it would be a good idea for us to find out that there was an afterlife because I would certainly take greater risks in the here and now because I wouldn't have to worry about my existence being cut off tomorrow if I did a boneheaded thing. The big question would be who's version of the afterlife would turn out to be the right one, and if eternal torment in the Christian hell would be as bad as living with the Christian God.

I think a lot of people are going to come on here and say that they do already know what will happen to their soul. I know I do, but even if I didn't, it's easy to say that I would live a little more, go out and do things, but it's hard to actually do it. I don't want to leave the safety of my routine. So I'll have to answer "no," I wouldn't change my comfortable life for one of adventure and uncertainty.

wow thats a million dollar question lol bit like saying if you won the lottery, spent it used it all up would you do it again. I'd say no because who you are is determined by your outside influences and that effects how you behave. A good person would only want to be better at being good and an evil person would only want to be better at being evil.

This depends:
Is "the thing that happens to my soul after i die" dependent on the way i live my life?
If it is not then -- no.
if it is -- then yes.
