I have grown some pumkins from seeds i got free with The Argus. Only one grew and is now a humungous plant. Its had loads of flowers but no fruit. Why do you think this is? Its halloween in a few days!

Yus it took me years to perfect growing them! As soon as you get a few flowers on a stem, cut all but 2 off. Plant in May in good soil with manure. I got 3 last year! well chuffed!

Pumpkins require warm weather 70+ to make fruit.
you planted them too late in the year.
they also take at least 100 days from seed planting
to fruit makeing...

What's a pumkin?

If it's pumPkins you're trying to grow, and all you got was flowers, you probably didn't get any pollination.

Sounds like you planted them too late. They go in the ground in May or June depending on the variety of pumpkin.
