spell pregnant "pregnate?" I mean, if you're old enough to discuss pregnancy, shouldn't you be able to at least *spell* pregnant? And how do they spell pregnancy, "pregnatecy?" Yikes.

Hey Chelsea - if you worked at an OB's office and you couldn't spell pregnant, than yes, I'd say that at the very least you were in the wrong line of business. If I were being truthful, I'd say that someone who worked in an OB's office and couldn't spell "pregnant" was most likely an idiot.

Spelling is not a prerequisite for becoming pregnant. I saw a woman on Craigslist last night spelling couch --> COACH. So if she was telling the story of her children's inception it could go: He got me pregnate on the coach. As Dean Wormer said to Flounder in the movie Animal House... being fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life!

Forget the word pregnant... have you seen how many people can't spell the most common words we use every day?
Hello.... you can use spell check to catch the very obvious ones.... but you'll need to relearn grammar to know the difference between to, too, and two... or there, their, and they're.
Really.... as adults, you should be ashamed of yourselves... and most of you are responsible for raising children. That's scary!

Some people are just bad spellers.... or they were taught to spell it that way when they were younger, and just can't seem to get out of the habit. You really shouldn't criticze people for their spelling errors because nobody is perfect! Switch the situation around and put yourself as the person who can't spell, wouldn't you feel really stupid if someone was publically criticizing you! Honestly, GROW UP!!! I work at a doctors office part time as a receptionists, I can't spell half the words that the doctors use, does that mean I shouldn't be working there?

I agree - there is spell check, after all! Worse, it's aggravating when people confuse 'to', 'two' and 'too'!
