Give me your pick, and your reason(s) why. I've got my own choice, but you don't have to agree with mine.

Mickey Lolich.

He won 3 games of the 68 WS and even hit a homerun.

and denny mcclain is A VERY WRONG ANSER!!!

VERY VERY VERY WRONG ANSWER!

Yes, he did win all those games, but did you know that he ripped off a lot of eldery people of thier pensions and spent a few years in jail.

Now he says his sorry, but his words dont mean crap to all those old people he ripped off and stole from.

Granted it was an all to short career but Mark "the Bird" Fidrych. In 1976 he won 19 games, led the league in ERA (2.34) and complete games (24), was the starting pitcher in that year's All-Star Game, won the American League Rookie of the Year Award, and finished second in voting for the Cy Young Award. Not to mention the crazy antics he had and on mound and the way he talked to the ball. I'm 29 and only saw some videos but what a player. Too bad sports medicine was just crappy back then.

I guess Mickey Lolich was great especially with the 1968 World
Series but I have always like Jim Bunning

Hands down Mickey Lolich. McClain is a dirt bag and Morris wasn't there long enough. Lolich was the heart and soul of that pitching staff for years.

For one seaosn, Willie Hernandez.

For all time, I think you have to look to a Hal Newhouser and the Tigers who beat up on Dizzy Dean of...the Cardinals!

Jack Morris. It's a shame he's not in the Hall of Fame yet.
