I would like to know the best way to travel from LHR airport to Victoria Station? How long does this take? Cost? What Terminal do I leave from. I will be arriving on American Airlines flight from Chicago. Thank you!!!

Take "Heathrow Express" train from LHR to Paddington, (£13.50 and journey time 15 mins, trains every 15 mins from LHR), then take Circle Line to Victoria (15 mins & £3)
That would be the quickest, but not the cheapest. Taking the tube (underground) from LHR will take more time but won't cost you as much.

There are various ways.
1. Take a taxi. Make sure it is a black cab. Pricey and liable to be held up in traffic.
2. There are a number of coach services operated by National Express from Heathrow Bus Station to Victoria Coach Station. It is then a ten minute stroll to Victoria Station.
3. Take the Heathrow Express rail service to Paddington. This is a premium charge service, but it is quick. From Paddington, take a westbound train on the Circle Line to Victoria. The main disadvantage is the walking distance between trains at Paddington.
4. My preferred way is to take a London-bound Piccadilly Line train from Heathrow to Hammersmith. Here there is cross-platform interchange to the District Line (be careful of the step from the Piccadilly Line train). Take any eastbound District Line (except any that might be going to High Street Kensington, Edgware Road or Olympia) to Victoria.

Piccadilly Line underground to Hammersmith. Walk across the platform. District Line train to Victoria.
