she's probably getting too much beta carotene in her system. her orange no is not detrimental to her health. it will go away on its own.

Is it from getting food on her nose and it won't wip off all the way, or is her skin just starting to take on an orange tone?
If it's an orange tone, stop feeding her so many orange vegetables. Do some green ones! And lots of fruits. It is from the beta carotine (spelling?) in the sweet potatoes and carrots (and whatever else might be orange...) building up in her system. It's not normal, but it's not uncommon.
If it's just from food getting smeared onto her skin, try to wipe really good right away, or even after every bite. I don't know of any products that are safe to put that close to a baby's eyes and mouth, besides regular baby soap.

The coloring is in the skin... so the only way to get rid of it is to reduce the consumption of carrots & sweet potatoes. Usually, you'll see an orange pigment throughout the face and the whites of the eyes. It's not harmful.... just try to increase more of the green veggies to balance out her nutrition. If once you've cut down on the yellow veggies... and the coloring doesn't clear up, consult with the doctor.

My son has the same problem everyone told me just to limit the amount of those veggies with too much beta carotine. I did that but it still seems orange. Just don't feed her these things every day- and eventaully the staining will go away.

It's not really a stain. In order to get rid of it you have to not give her as much sweet potatoes and carrots. It won't hurt her, it just gives her a pretty glow.

Try cutting out these veggies from her diet for a while or give smaller amounts, it is not harmful and it will go away on it's own. Replace with other healthy options.

Cut back on the veggies that contain beta-carotene. It will put an orange pigment to ones complexion.

Don't just cut out these veggies. These are really good for her. Just try to maybe clean it right away with a wet wipe, or else just wait it out... it'll fade away. Good luck.

Cut down on the carrots. She is getting too much Kertin. Its not a health hazard, but think of this. Everything in moderation. Imagine eating too much protein - healthy to do this occassionally but if you do it on a longer term basis it could damage your kidneys.....everything in moderation.

Change the foods you are giving her. Eating too much carrots will cause your skin to change color to orange, if you stop eating carrots, the skin color will change back ... this happens alot.
