Good flick. Possibly based on a true story, but I'm not sure.
There were diving horses on the Atlantic City Steel Pier around that time so it might be true.

I got that movie when I was a kid and I still like to watch it. I could really relate to the main girl, like when she went to the beauty salon and tried to fancy herself up, that part was funny. I thought the guy she liked was SO hot. And it was really sad when his father died. I always wondered how the horses felt about jumping like that, that had to spook them. But I think that movie is a good choice for pretty much girls of all ages.

I remember it too. I used to cry everytime I watched it on the Disney Channel!
And to the person who said they would get it on DVD, I'm pretty sure it's out on DVD now becasue it popped up as a recomendationf ro me in Netflix. You could probably find it at Amazon.com, but i'm not certain.
