Did you try calling the county where he was born? Sometimes they will pull the birth cert for you---but usually you have to ask for the info in writing. OR you might have to go in person. That might be the only way to get the info without paying for the online services.
Wait a minute, I just thought of something..MY birth certificate has my parent's DOB on them--does yours?

you could ask your mother or any family member maybe any of his sisters or brothers.

ask your mom or your grandma if you dint know them either then you really cant find anything on line because you need a birthday and a so on.

Search his name on the social security death registry. It gives the date of his birth and death as well. And its free.
