I dreamt that my husband pushed me into a spider web and he would not let go and he held me there until the spider crawled onto my hand. Then I woke up. It was really weird. I have the most enormous fear of spiders. I am just puzzled by what this means. I do not know if dreams mean anything. Do they?

yes, dreams do mean something. In your case, it is a draem about relationship.

spider = fear,tedious problems
web = trap, task
being pushed by husband = trust, responsibilties
crawled onto your hand = duties move over

In other words, you have some issues with your hubby. Probably he oftens pushes away some responsibilities to you. You projected spiders as fear because there are things that you feel you should do alone. Having dreamed your hubby pushed you into a spider web symbolized your trust to him and his repsonbilities moved over to you.

Noticed, it is not just spiders that you fear of, it is some responsibitilies that you feel your hubby fears of and you are taking over unwillingly. (this could be about family, financial, errand run in the house and so on.)

Maybe in your dream your husband was trying to show you that your fear of spiders is unwaranted. The spider didn't hurt you right? Just crawled into your hand?
He (most men in relationships) is the protector and is not afraid of spiders. He would be the symbol of safety then, letting you know you are ok.
But of course it could've been that you saw a spider on a commercial or on TV somewhere and it was just still in your subconscious. And your hubby was the last one you saw before going to bed. So it all just came together in your dream.
But I think I'm going to check out that website above. It sounds pretty nifty.
Peace and blessed be!
