I didn't asked if the question was good to ask here. I just think it's rude to answer "eat **** and die" to someone asking you about a very personal thing such as pregnancy.

They probably just want a little support and reassurance. We have no idea what is going on in their life, and we have no idea if they are pregnant or not. I think they get that, but if they are turning to anonymous strangers, they are looking for SOMETHING, and I highly doubt it is people bashing them. I think it would be nice if people could show a little compassion sometimes, and barring that show a little restraint. Not every little thought that pops into your head needs to be broadcast over the Internet people.

hmm this is a good point, Im with you. I know its a question asked all the time. But i think alot of people that want a baby can relate. Its usually just the feeling of being excited and wanting people to feed more to your head. So if i said "im having all these symptoms and i think i could be pregnant do you?" Well some people will AT LEAST say "MAYBE" well you know thats JUST what i wanted to hear. You know what im saying. Just ignore the question if you dont want to answer it for the 300 time. But on the same hand, i get a little concerned....People must spend ALOT of time on these boards to realize its been posted that many times. heck i make it to about page 2 and thats it lol Goodpoint tho :)

I think so, too. I think everyone deserves a moment in the sun, or here at Y! Answers for that matter. However, l think seeing a doctor would do them just as much good as seeking advice here.

But, all in all, I don't see a problem with pregnant women asking questions here. I've seen worse, much worse. And, by the way, this same thing repeats itself at ALL Y! Answers' international sites. It's all about "Am I pregnant?" "Could I be pregnant?" etc, etc, etc.

I guess that's a HOT TOPIC these days! =)

Congrats on being so sensitive to others' feelings!

It isn't that a blood test or a urine test will give better results, it's that those test will give results period. Other then looking at symptoms which aren't always an accurate way of determining if someone is pregnant they are the way to go. If you have sex and you have reproductive organs that are working you could be pregnant but nobody here can tell you for sure.

wow, thanks, some ppl think we are just be a drama women!
but we have questions we can not just ask our best friend, are coworkers, or our husbands, bc we are imbarresed!!!!
i know that hearing other ppls awnsers and other ppl questions shows us we are not alone and it make us feel better. i dont know about everyone else but this "ASK-AWNSER" has been the best thing, we can ask anyquestion and know that someone out there is going to give some advise that will make us feel better, and we can just relax!!!!!!!!!!! so you know what if we want to ask 10 thosand time we will, and if the ppl out there want to be rude they will, but i bet there will be a day that they will need to ask a question and they will hate the RUDE ppl that anwser him, but thank the nice ppl out there that tryed to help!!!!!!!
SO..... I thank all you ppl out there that helped me, and by the way, i just found out i am preg. and i am sure i will be asking all the moms more questions. GOD bless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's a stupid question.

i might as well post the question "hey, is there something stuck between my teeth?"

the same retarded questions get asked EVERY SINGLE DAY countless times, and they're always moronic.

"HOW CAN I LOSE 2354 LBS IN 3 DAYS WITH NO EXERCISE?!?!?!"
"HOW CAN I QUIT SMOKING I SMOKE 4 PACKS A DAY AND LOVE TOBACCO!!!11?"
"I HAVE A FEVER, RUNNY NOSE, COUGH - WHAT IS MY DISEASE?!? CANCER?!?! GIVE EXACT MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS ONLY PLZZZ"
"MY PERIOD WAS SUPPOSED TO BE YESTERDAY AND I WASN'T - AM I PREGNANT?!?!?!!1"

the same, idiotic, repetitive questions.

you wanna lose weight without exercise? GET LIPO, FATTY!
you wanna quit smoking? THEN QUIT ALREADY!
you think you're sick? SEE A DAMN DOCTOR.
you think you're pregnant? GET TESTED OR SEE A DOCTOR!

these are questions easily answered by COMMON SENSE, and are so individual and unanswerable they're practically rhetorical.

I think the reason why people bash is because this question of am I pregnant? has been asked over 63,000 times! I typed in Pregnant? in the search engine portion of Yahoo Anwers and it pulled up all the questions asked in the past. You see people get tired of seeing the same question over and over again; they have even bashed me a couple of times...but I have learned that before asking my own question I should look around the website for similar questions and answers! This saves others time in answering...or racking their brains for rude and uncuth answers, and it saves me time in having to ask it.

I generally DO ignore those questions, unless they're asked by the boyfriend. But you must admit, it's stupid to ask total strangers that know nothing about specific cases what they think! And some of them appear so foolish, one must wonder what the heck they thought they were doing taking their pants down.

because its a rhetorical question, we couldn't possibly know whether someone is pregnant or not, its impossible we are not pregnancy tests. Its a waste of everyones time. they know what to do to confirm it!

Also, how do u know if "these women have enough problems"? not everyone sees pregnancy as a problem u know? we are not all 15 and up the duff from a one night stand

no one here is psychic and all teh symptoms of pregnancy can also be symptoms of pms so its redundant to ask a stranger on a chat board if there pregnant, miss a period then test is the only answer that can be given and one they should already know
