No, and I don't want to as I believe you are right. It is our way of dealing with the only thing that is guaranteed in life..... death!

Man most definitely created religions but God himself has always existed. The proof. His creation. "But we evolved," you say.

Look around you. Look at how you are made. If we evolved to survive... simply to survive ... why do humans have taste buds? We could easily survive by eating the same thing day after day after day, like animals do but we don't? We enjoy our food and the complexity of taste? We could easily survive without being able to see in color... like dogs do, but we don't. What difference would the ability to see blues and greens and reds make to our surviival? Think about this honestly. Why is it that man has to work really hard and design and create things to duplicate things like flight yet we think birds happened by accident? Why is it that we can admkre the dying art of watchmaking and see the design and care involved and yet dispute that someone had to put the universe in motion, a motion that makes time-keeping possible? Want to test that? Why don't you take a cheap watch, pull it apart and then throw all the parts in a bag. Shake it real hard. Blow it full of air and then burst it. Try that several thousand times and then come back and tell me how many times those parts come out of the explosion as a watch.

The words of the Apostle Paul say it plainly: Romans 1:20 says that "his invisible qualities are clearly see from the world's creation onward, because they are perceived by the things made, even his eternal power & Godship, so that they are inexcusable. "
In order to accept that as truth people have to be something that is truly unpopular today... HUMBLE.

In the end, belief in evolution over creation by an almighty God is an easy way to avoid accountability for our actions. No God? No Sin!

Your existence is not quite a proof of God, but it is strong evidence of a Creator. Among many other facts, a planet that can support life is extremely rare. The odds of having one such planet in the universe is 1 in billions - suggesting that we aren't the product of random atoms getting together.

One example: A planet of earth's size has a thick atmosphere, like the planet Venus, because of the amount of gravity. But that is too much atmosphere for maintaining life (not enough light reaches the surface to grow plants!) But the earth was hit at just the right angle, and speed, by just the right sized object, at just the right time, to throw off just the right amount of atmosphere into space.

The planet Jupiter is also perfectly placed - a little farther out would fail to stabilize our orbit. Not to mention that Jupiter's large gravitational field vaccuums up many stray comets, asteroids, and other things headed for the inner solar system.

You've probably know that we aren't in the center of the galaxy. That is correct - we are in prime real estate - close enough to the center activity to have heavy metals (such as iron) from supernovae, but far enough away to not get burned by supernovae too often. If we were closer, further away, in the center of a spiral arm, no life on earth.

The reference below contains an intimidating list of all the things necessary for life on earth. And that is only half the list! There is a more hairy list of similar size that discusses the quantum physics and other hairy details necessary for life anywhere in the universe.

No, you are of course correct, I've been wracking my brains for years trying to fathom out how it could ever be possible to prove that there is no God,but its impossible!!
Also I have the same problem in trying to work out if I was religious how could I prove there is a God, also impossible!
No matter what realms of complete fantasy I enter there is no way to prove to an atheist like myself that there is a God, even if he appeared before me with a little private message, I would not believe.
And whatever proof I could produce to a true believer, no matter how fantastic, the believer would still believe !!
Let me know if you come up with any ideas on the subject, I could use them, for or against!!
Or better still for and against!!
