And then the judge can force them to change their name from a news channel to a neo-conservative fantasy channel -- at least that much would be accurate.

I think everyone knows Fox News is a tool of the Republican Party, so just consider the source.

No, they should NOT be sued. They are a right-wing propaganda tool. Plain and simple. But this doesn't mean they should be sued, it means that people who actually think they are "fair and balanced" need to inform themselves and stop being dupes. If you sue Fox, it will just put these poor sods on the defensive instead of helping them open their eyes.

They are being fooled by social masters who know how to re-frame an argument to change reality. Its simple, really - you just say that you are fair and balanced as you really propagandize for the right, and call anyone who doesn't repeat the propaganda a liberal station or network. In other words, being objective ends up being seen as liberal if it clashes with the right-wing propaganda.

Don't get me wrong, its not like left-wingers are strangers to propaganda. The fact is that there is nothing that really compares to Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, etc.

These are truly sad times when these folks are seen as legitimate by about a third of the country.

Note to Turboweegie (two comments below mine): Book burning is a right-wing thing. Leftists don't burn books. In Rathergate, the documents may not have been authentic, but the story was correct.

no leave fox news alone THEY are not the problems it's msnbc and cnn because those are liberal stations its a fact ask around. They dont want to give bush any credit for any of the things he is doing. They favor democrats more - fox favors republicans more.

the gas prices are low - no credit
the unemployment rate is down - no credit
the defecit is projected down - no credit
economy is booming (well it will be @ christmas time) - no credit
we captured / killed most of the cards in iraq - no credit
bin ladens on the run - were on to him
havent had a terrorist attack SINCE 911
the tax cuts work (what u dont like getting your check)?
so that makes me ask the question what can the democrats think they can do better if everything is already done.

And can you prove this alleged 'fraud'?

Or should we rely on the news from Democratic fundraiser Dan Rather's channel, the one that regurgitated the Bush AWOL hoax, and even stooped to provide cheap forgeries to 'prove' it.

And if you have such a problem with Fox, what's it to you? Don't watch! Or does that not satisfy your leftist book-burning legacy needs?

Heck No.....it's the only "fair" place to find the news. All
the others (CNN, ABC, CBS,. NBC, MSNBC) are completely
biased for liberals. Fox gives us the full truth. To be fair
and balanced, they also give as much time for liberal guests
as they do conservative....usually they have both sides on
together. Let's sue all the other news stations because they
only report what they want to, especially if it puts down the
Republicans. I suppose you think that's okay tho.

The only thing they are guilty of is giving the news in a unbiased format. What is wrong with that? You must not watch it if you cant see that.

One more thing, the terms neo-conservative and Neocon, are really becoming over used and are really ridiculous. I bet most of the people using them dont even know what they mean anymore.

I am guessing you are a Democrat.

What i am seeing here from you and many, many Democrats like you is that you want the ONLY conservative news network taken off the air because they attack points you don't agree with.

Your sad.

Guess this is your idea of free speech huh? Opress all views but the Democratic ones...

Absolutely, because let's face, they don't push the agenda of the far left like Stahl and Rooney did on 60 Minutes last night.

When are you people going to quit crying about the fact that FNC won't promote your agenda just because you want them to? Don't like Fox News? Stick to ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC and Entertainment Tonight. You have plenty of choices to be spoon fed your news.

Edited for grammatical corrections.

I wonder about the Discovery Channel too, promoting science education, yet running shows on hauntings, aliens, and religion
