I won't give Feder any slack because he's a rightie. I do not take someone else's interpretation and sound-byting as the whole truth, especially if they do not include a link to the actual text he is complaining about.

This is the type of thing that especially infuriates me - media people who decide to 'interpret' others' speech for us, but will not provide us with the actual text so we can judge for ourselves.

I take nobody's word for it - I am skeptical.

I am steadfastly pro-Israel and I'm sick of the Palestinians, but this is an editorial, not a news item. It's nothing new, just a continuation of what Clinton started to make it look like the US is impartial when really we are not. Look at how generic the actual Condi quotes in the article sound. You can go to Ynet for up to the minute middle east news.

Condi Rice an anti-Semite just because she wants to settle the Palestinian conflict? Please. By that standard almost everyone with any sense is an anti-Semite. That conflict won't be resolved until both Israelis and Palestinians have viable, safe home countries. That's what Rice is working towards.

I, for one, am tired of having so much time, resources and attention preoccupied with a parcel of land half the size of Delaware. If Condi can push the process towards peace, more power to her.

Well sir I think you speak with forked tongue. I just went to your link and read all of the rhetoric listed there. I then went out and actually read the interview and speech.

Ms. Rice is by no means an anti-semite. I think she did a good job on her tour of the middle east. There is a lot of work to be done in this region towards reducing conflict.

“The Palestinian people deserve a better life, a life that is rooted in liberty, democracy, uncompromised by violence and terrorism,” Rice inanely proclaimed. 'inanely'?

For once, somebody in the Bush administration has it right!

P.S. You shouldn't be reading such rightwing drivel.

I would like to know why the US needs to yet again stick their nose somewhere it doesnt belong! Let Isreal and Palestine sort things out for themselves. They have been fighting for years! What are we going to do that would make them stop?

Better question - why did Americans (that is, those even bothered to vote at all!!) vote Bush in for a second term - didn't anyone in your country learn anything from his first term in office??
