Can you good folks out there in Singapore help me by giving me phone numbers or email address as to where I can locate parts from Singapore. Or are there after market parts which I can use, mainly looking for Struts (Front & Back) wheel bearings for the front.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thank you guys.

Your car came from Singapore, but the aftermarket parts do not have to come from here. You can order it from any shop elsewhere, including those listed in auto magazines. Especially when you mention strut bars. Autobacs in Singapore does stock them though. A popular make is Alutec.

There are tons of aftermarket brands of struts and wheel bearings. Stay away from Timken wheel bearings, I've had two that have failed within 8 months of being properly pressed into the hub with a hydraulic press and the appropriate sized wheel bearing tool to support the inner and outer races.

You don't need parts FROM singapore. If you have the VIN number, you can have the parts matched to the VIN. The only thing that really matters when purchasing struts is that you get the appropriate side and size, in that you don't want to put a strut designed for a stationwagon model of that vehicle (for example the ford taurus has both a sedan and a station wagon of most years). Sometimes they're cross compatable. Sometimes they aren't.

Just go to your local auto parts store and have them pull the make/model/year and order the part.
