in acting, and has made it big in movies? Just curious, I had thought about doing this, but I am nerves that I would get up there and not find work.

I live in Hollywood, and EVERYONE comes here looking for work. I'm a secretary at a plastic surgeon's office, and you wouldn't believe how many people come in to get procedures done just so they could make it big in the movies ... and then they can't make their payments because they can't find anyone to hire them. Its a vicious world out here, and it takes alot more than talent to get someone's attention. Connections and experience prove to be worth alot.
But hey, if its your dream, why not give it a shot?

as long as you can find a good day job that will give you time to audition, go for it. starvation is the norm for young actors.
