Last year I dressed up as a parrott. It should be okay as long as you don't deal with customers or have important meetings that day. If you're not sure if it's okay ask your supervisor. Only you can know if you're comfortable dressing up. If you are then why not. Ask around to see if anyone else is dressing up if you're worried.

Well we have an auction the Saturday night before Halloween and a bunch of us are trying to figure out if we want to dress up or not.

I never dressed up for work. It is too fun to make fun of the other people dressed up though.

My hubby does each year. Most the people he works with also do. He is in retail. I think many do in retail. I see a lot of it.

I did at my last job, that's how the whole Blue Faerie thing started in the first place two years ago :)
We had an absolute blast, it was the best ritual at that job :)
