I think I lost mine. It wasnt at all bloody but it was best described as thick and gloppy. Did yours come out all at once? How long after you lost yours did you go into labor. I know it varies from person to person, im just trying to get an Idea. Oh yeah, Im 36-37 weeks pregnant..Thanks a lot!

With my first one I lost it 1 week before I had my son. with my second son i lost my plug 14 days before I had him. I thought with my second it came out all at once then a week later more came out. I kept freaking out thinking ok it should be any day now. But it just your body getting ready for the big day. Just relax and enjoy the rest of your pregnacy becuase your going to need all the rest you can get. Good luck

Sometimes your mucous plug comes out all at once. However once it comes out your body starts to replace it by making more mucous. Don't be surprised if you see more. It does not have to be bloody. The blood is only from your cervix. As it thins out, blood vessels pop and that is where the blood comes from. It can happen a few days before labor and sometimes it can happen several weeks before labor. What a great sign for you though. Any thinning and dilation you do before labor is that much less you will have to do during. Congrats!

I lost mine gradually over about 4 days, it began clean and then was tinged kind of a tan color which alarmed me a little but I was told by my doctor that it was fine, it can range from pink, brown, tan, and clear. Many people I asked told me it would be a few weeks before I went into labor... My water broke the next day at around midnight and I had my daughter the following day. I was a little over 37 weeks.

I lost mine right when my water broke, and I went into labow right at the same time. Although contractions weren';t strong so I needed pitocin to help speed things along. Iwas 38 weeks along.

It shouldn't be bloody....Just thick and gloppy like you said...And once you loose it, it could be today, could be tomorrow, could be another couple of weeks....sorry!
