I used to like him, but now he's become a caricature of himself. The "he could go all the way" and fake drama of "by the way," have worn really thin, and he's done nothing original in the past decade.

I've switched to mostly watching the NFL Network these days, mainly because I can't take Berman. Is it just me, or is he wearing thin for others?

I wish he would go Back Back Back Back Back Back into retirement. You know Tom Jackson is fake laughing at all of his stupid jokes.

As you stated earlier, he has done nothing orginal in at least a decade and the only ones that aren't sick of him are the ones that are too young to have been watching ESPN religiously 10+ years ago.

Next up on the list for ESPN sportscasters that are getting annoying is Mr. Lazy Eye Stuart Scott. I like the Chad Johnson commercial where he tells Lazy Eye "Boo-No!"

Berman has grown older than my dead gram paw. He is not funny at all and all his lines are as old as he is.
Plus, he has to be so freakin politically correct all the time and talk about the feel good stories and minority issues and why we really don't have to hit so hard do we.
ESPN in general has gotten old and I would much rather watch NFL network or comcast sportsnet.

Yes, he's played out. I like Tom Jackson's analysis but I have to put up with Berman.

I couldn't agree more with you. I am tired of his annoying nicknames he has for everyone, which are mainly references from the 80's. I also can't stand his smugness of knowing he is "The Man" at ESPN.

Yeah, I'm done with the "woop" thing and the crazy nickname schtick.

But he's Mr. ESPN, so he's not going to be replaced anytime soon.
