I can't believe that I just read that BS of a question!
The USA has been the strongest power on the planet for over 50 years. They could has sorted out most if not all international problems by policing them in a neutral manner. Their military power would have made those in dispute pay attention. No instead they choose to come down on one side of the dispute and in doing so created a imbalance in the region in question. The done it with Israel (never once backing any UN motions against Israel). The did the same with Iraq (backing Saddam when it suited them) Using Iraq to fight Iran and thus creating more problems. The are now creating problems for Pakistan. In this case they threatened to bomb them back into the stone age if they did not help them. So much for democratic principles.
I don't think that the Republicans will get in this time. And thank God Herr Bush can't run for a third term!
Instead of using their power for good they used it to benifit the elite classes in the US. Those who are in the oil business (the Bush Family) and those who make the new weapons which need a testing ground etc etc.

It's funny you say that, beacuse it's the republicans who never want to give the military pay raises, but they always make sure to give themselves one! The largest raise given to the military was by a Democrat! Jimmy Carter!
I can say this because I was in the military. I think congress and senate should try to live on what an E-3 makes in the military trying to support a family! They wouldn't last a week!

I was a registered Republican, but the Terrorist are going to come after us no matter who is in office. If our military continues to be stretched like it has been recently, we are going to be very vulnerable against a foe like North Korea.
