The Sun's current age, is thought to be about 4.5 billion years
Life-cycle of the SunThe Sun is about halfway through its main-sequence evolution, during which nuclear fusion reactions in its core fuse hydrogen into helium. Each second, more than 4 million tonnes of matter are converted into energy within the Sun's core, producing neutrinos and solar radiation. The Sun will spend a total of approximately 10 billion years as a main sequence star.
The Sun does not have enough mass to explode as a supernova. Instead, in 4-5 billion years, it will enter a red giant phase, its outer layers expanding as the hydrogen fuel in the core is consumed and the core contracts and heats up.

When it explodes, it will stop shining... There is no exact time, but I have read an article, I don't remember the title of the magazine, that in 2074 a very large meteorite called wormwood I think will crash the Milky Way Galaxy and will probably hit the sun. Maybe this will cause the explosion. Its just a theory...

I think the last estimate was about 11 million years. However, we'll all be burnt to a crisp before it does, as the sun will expand, taking out every planet up to Mars as it does!

Naturally.....Millions, and millions, and millions of years.
Does it really matter, no one can stop it anyway.
However, another Alien type might just want to harvest the X Rays, therefore may implode it just to suit them.
Stop being concerned, you won't survive so just say hello every morning.

close to 4 and half billion holes but there is a condition that is possible that allows the sun to burn its fuel in less that 3 and half
