I'm not asking if you definitely would vote for him, just whether you would be open to it. If not, please explain why.

I'd be open to listening to his platform and making an informed decision. Right now, I just don't feel he is experienced enough for the Presidency, but I am open to letting him prove me wrong. I think he could be a powerful candidate if he can rise above the criticism of being too wet behind the ears. If not now, I think he will be fit for the office in the future.

From what I hear and have seen I wouldn't mind seeing him running for President. He's passed bills and participated across party lines. He understands both sides of the issues. An he listens, and you know when home he still takes out the garbage. Right now he's out promoting his book so you'll see him in the news for a bit longer. Interesting background as well. I think the thing that stuck out for me is that he claims a holiday event at his house is like viewing the UN crossing all racial boundaries and religious boundaries as well.

I'm open to it but not in '08 - one-term US Senators are just a little too lightweight for me to consider for the office of the presidency (Hillary Rodham Clinton take note!).

As far as what's likely to happen, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Dems end up running a Clinton-Obama ticket.

I would be open to listen to what he had to say, but that doesn't mean I would vote for him. He is not really that well known to anyone other than to his constituents.

you are an absolute fool to think that any one of his color will be elected president .
He would become the first president elected to to go into a bunker for four years .
Other wise you would have the vie president for president in a short time .
It is ok to have a voice in politics and elect a few coloreds to office but we will never come to accept a black president for 50 more years .

Yes, but I would definitely need to know alot more about him. I would need to know his opinions and views and his record on the numerous issues that face this nation.
