While I disagree about Hasselback going to the hall of fame, he is pretty good. I think Farve would like to retire a Packer, but he also wants to be able to go out at least near the top, plus he and Holmgren have made each other look even better in the '90s. I would say it is possible, but since this would be a 1 season trade (w/Hasselback being healthy next year) I don't see it happening because of how late it is, plus other teams might have interest in Farve. Combine that with Favre's potential interest to come back EVERY year, this will lock him into retirement. While it sounds nice and all there are 2 many issues at hand to make it VERY VERY unlikely to the point where it wont happen

The trade deadline has passed. You have to make trades before week 6. Favre just needs to retire instead of going through this "I don't know what I wanna do" crap every year!!!

Where do you come off saying Hasselbeck is out with a torn ACL?? Do you have access to his medical reports? Are you a doctor? Are you a family member?? First off, the report is a sprained MCL.. Now I may not be a doctor but a sprained MCL does not lead to a torn ACL.. Second, he has not has his MRI yet.. So lay off the angel dust and stick to the facts..

As a loyal Green Bay fan, and a consistant fan a Favre, I am aware there has been talks. Though the fans of Green Bay would lose all faith in there team, it's a loss this team cant afford, financially. Favre is our "only" name player, our revenue on the team would drop too drastically, therefore, we will keep Favre here until he retires, hopefully after next year when all the records are broke.

Maybe Holmgren is talking to the Packers about coming back to Green Bay. Just a thought.

The Seahawks players have faith in Seneca Wallace who already knows the offense. Brett Favre has already talked about his dismay in needing to learn a new offense. The citizens of Green Bay would never forgive the administration for trading Brett Favre. I'd say it's 99% not going to happen.
