i agree chess clubs and tournaments are a good idea.
also chess-related groups on the internet.
I knew a woman who put her interest in chess in her profile in an online dating thing. So you could get in eharmony or match.com and search for women who have that in their information.
Anywhere you go you can ask women about chess. Like parties etc. and work.
