I am planning on starting a small company in mexico city giving walking tours by areas and themes. What do you think about this idea? How much would you pay for a 3/4 hours tour? Do you have any suggestions to make the tours more original and attractive?

It's actually a good idea, make sure you can offer those tours in areas of the city where is safe for tourists...my advice to you is to make the tour affordable, by doing that you will get good referrals for years to come...good luck on your venture....as of the price? I would pay 15 to 25 bucks tops...I'd pay a little more for night tours

Walking tours in a crowed city ...now it's available 3 fake train wagons to know Coyoacan, Historicentre & Polanco. Also exists the turibus.
You can do the walking tours but not in the Zocalo, it's quite insecure for the travelers.
Do it in Coyoacan, San Angel or Condesa.
Cost $60 mxp
Take care of your travelers, don't make them walk in dire straits.
