Help with the Event isis duo breast pump.?

Question

I do not have a problem with let down, or milk production. I can not get it to work well. I hook it up according to the direction. I see and feel the suction a little bit but nothing happens. I have used the medella hand pump and get 3-4 oz of milk, with hand expression2oz. Is there some thing wrong with pump. I even tried using the avent hand pump and nothing happend. is there a trick help

A few thoughts -

Have you taken everything apart and put it back together to make sure it's all connected correctly?

Hand express a small amount of milk onto the inside of the horn of the pump. Sometimes this can help you get a tigher seal when you put it to your breast.

Have you boiled the pump parts to steralize them? Sometimes boiling them also helps make them seal better.

I used the "Avent Isis " hand pump with no problems.
Try expressing after you just fed, and while your baby is near.
This may sound wierd, but any baby crying would get my milk flowing. Even now there are times when I get similar sensations in my nipples, and my youngest is 5!!
If you feel anxious or stressed, stop trying for a while, until you feel calmer.
Dont pump too fast, slow long pumps worked best for me.
If you get that feeling when your breasts are full, sit near your baby and look at him/her whilst expressing. It really works.xxx

there should be white suction caps where the milk drips from see if there on properly
