like the first person said, yes just for transport of the appliances when then it must be left off for about 24 hours...

Lucky is exactly correct and the other guy that said 4 hours... it depends on how long it was on it's side, 24 hours is always your best bet. I got inpatient once and plugged one in after 10 hours and it was too soon and I not only had to buy another one but had to also move another one. it isn't worth it, wait 24 hours.

Yes, if you need to transport a freezer how do you think you get it through a door? It might get a bit messy in there thought like throw up =P

Just for transport, yes, but leave it sit in the upright position at least 24 hours before plugging it back in.

You can,,,,,but don't plug it back in for 4 hours. That will give the oil time to drain back into the compressor. I f you don't wait, it could burn the compressor up.

Above "Lucky....." correct, it allows the Compressor Oil to go back where it belong.
