Well aside from being a girl based game, this was Square-Enix's first sequal to a FF title. They really jumped the gun when producing this game because of the success of FFX and a lot of people wanted to know what happen to Tidus and Yuna. It's a very hard game to be honest, because there are 2 different endings. Best one is of coarse if you beat the game with 100%.
It's not as dumb as it seems, it well wraps up as you go further into the game. If your a big FF fan, it wouldn't matter if it was lame or not. You will still play it and eventually like it. :)

I liked FFX-2 and the battle system and it was a different turn for the Final Fantasy system but it was different. Though I didn't like the characters that much, square could've done better on them...

Hell no that games the **** its perfect although its a bit redundant its still good its only the true RPG and FF fans that can never dishonor any ff game.

It's not dumb just because there are only girls. I'm pretty sure the Grand Theft Auto games are pretty much full of guys, and yet, they aren't that stupid.
