J/K. Apathy is a strong demographic in polical considerations. How big is its effect on U.S. politics?

I blame public education.

And I am not kidding. You are dead on with the Am. Idol comment.

All you have to do is get something into the liberal media and the folks will parrot it like gospel.

The politicans depend on apathy to get thier way. As for the voter or non-voter they are getting what they deserve.

It's huge. They are the prime ones who complain bitterly, but never vote. Useless to our society IMO.

The reason that it's considered a big deal is that the folks making the big deal out of it dream of those non-voters voting for their tickets!
