I was amazed by how the Amish community showed love and forgiveness towards the man who murdered their children.... Since George is supposedly a Christian... shouldnt he also be trying to demonstrate love and forgiveness?

well it truly is and amazing act of compassion and love, that truly is so rare, and the reality is most christians are as incapable of that kind of love and compassion as any of us other "heathens",its that incredible strength of kind loving compassion that the republicans seem to hate,i read over and over again on yahoo questions, about how awful the democrats would be,i hear them say that "the lib's would try to understand the terrorists" so it would seem that as a republican the thing to do is kill for jesus because that is the will of god as mandated in the bible (seems awfully similiar to the extremist muslim view of the koran).i think that every religion could take a lesson on proper conduct by seeing these amish as the example of true love and compassion the way that jesus meant, the way that mohammed meant, its so rare maybe only do we see that in people like the dalai lama or ghandi.

Each municipality controls their own local government, economy, and by-laws. Not Dubya.

I do appreciate the fact that the children asked their parents if they could avoid the school house; and as a response they burned down that school house at their children's request. Since the Amish do live private lives, we will never fully hear how they feel about the situation. All humans are hurt when our childreen are harmed ... and they may need God's love to help them get over this ordeal too just like you and I would.

Yet, schools like "Columbine" and the other schools that had brutal massacres decided to send children back into these places because of money.

That some presidents inherit militia generals that do not know something whilst puzzled by way of Congress (in case you prefer to look it up, seek for Kucinich thinking the militia generals). they each so often do no longer tell the folk solutions to what they in certainty know. We the folk, have the inherent top to get solutions as long via fact the information won't compromise the protection of alternative individuals. 2, that militia generals do no longer prefer to respond to questions.

To answer your question no. All this president cares about is people in other countries and starting by trying to help people in his own country. No wonder no one likes Bush's ***** ***. I mean it's okay to help but start by making your country into a better place too. Him and his wife just care about them having a respectably place in society.

You are correct. If we go by Christian philosophy, Jesus did in fact tell people to "turn the other cheek."

Touche. But then again, this is what's going on in his mind most of the time: "two plus two is FOUR...!!"
