They registered their marriage but broke off over some problems. The marriage was annulled. 6 years down the road, she heard that he is going to be a father soon. My fren was heart-broken. She is still single and had been through many breakups since. She had lost faith in marriage and now she realised her ex-husband is her true love ultimately.

Oh pleeease. No wonder she has failed in her relationships... She still can't get over what happened 6 years ago. She needs to wake up and smell the coffee; life is passing her by while she's stuck in the past. He wasn't her "true love" any more, or less, than any other person she had been with. Things didn't work out, for a reason. Now it's time to deal with her own issues, and start being functional again. People who are functional attract other functional people; people who lack self-esteem, and are stuck in the past, attract those who are dysfunctional themselves. She might want to look into getting evaluated and treated for depression; therapy, medication, religious involvement all may help. But whatever it is, it's time to let the past go.

I believe it is more of case of upsetas her ex is going to be a father soon where she is still single despite having few unsucessful relationship. She needs to put down her past relationship before starting a new relationship. Sometimes we always want things that others have coz we always feel that things other have is always the best. if he is her true love, why did it take her 6 yrs to realize it? She should have realised it much earlier and not after 6 long years

Her ex became her ex for a reason. She is heartbroken because he moved on further than she has. We always want what we cant have and now he is taken. Hes not her true love. Otherwise, why did it take her 6 yrs and the news of his upcoming child to realize it?

no one really truely knows what love is...we just know how we feel. but i kno how your friend is feeling. i would see if there is any feeling left in the relationship. ther's always going to be problems in a relationship, it doesnt mean 2 break up. i mean it doesnt sound rite 2 just," break up 2 make up". but its going to end up alright because if she is devastated over him i know its not just jelousy. So see if she can have a close and serious intamite relationship with him. if he still cares about her then she can tell him how she feels. she has to take a chance, if not the baby's mother might get too attached. have your friend try 2 bring the feelings the relationship once had back. love knows how to solve itself when it comes to things like this. she just needs 2 get it started...

If he is her true love she would have figured it out before now but i realize that she is heart broken. She will find someone that she is really in love with and that does take time. She needs to get out there not worry about her ex and figure out what she really wants.

Well, I guess she is pretty much screwed and needs to get over it, because obviously her ex already has. She'd be a total fool to go chasing after him now.

Sounds like she is using "TRUE LOVE" as a romantic EXCUSE to give up.
She gave up on her marriage, she's giving up on love. I think she still needs to learn that the things in this world worth having take hard work to keep.

I think she is just upset that her ex has found happiness and she is still looking. If he were her true love, she would have figured it out before she heard this news about him.

it's a bit late now. obviously the ex husband has moved on with his life, and she should do the same. it is not fair to him and his new family to ask him to move back to the past.
