I got tickets to see "Phantom of the Opera" in Edinburgh. It's my fave musical so I was really pleased. My dad took me then we had the best fish and chips i've ever tasted. Doesn't sound alot but I had a really good night out. My grandma got me an absolutely gorgeous amethyst heart ring with green and rose gold leaves on the shoulders, which I still wear now. Friends gave me money so I could go and buy my fave clothes.

Do you know it was so long ago I had forgotten until I started writing this answer.
I can remember receiving a 'special' watch from my parents which I still have to this day and it actually works.
Surprisingly even though it is xxxxx years old, it is fashionable.

My 21st birthday was in 1988, and I cannot remember what I got, apart from one of those crappy fake metal keys with "21" on it.

i was 21 last year but didn't get allot. probably got more when i was younger.
you could get your mates, vouchers, clothes, jewellery, makeup, Cd's or DVDs! there's quite allot of good stuff in the shops lately.

Ironically, my parents bought me a new car, and my co-workers all bought me booze. Although I'm smart enough that I didn't drink and drive, I still smile at the combination.
