Get them back and get them to fix it. They're obligated to do it right.

The mould grows at the coldest point of the window, quite a common problem with double glazed windows, it is usually due to there being no ventilatiion in the rooms when the windows are shut,
Clean it with a weak solution of bleach and water, the more you clean it the less it grows. they really should have use a frame sealant rather than silicone.

Hopefully you did get a Double Glazing Company to do it for you and they gave you a 10 Year Guarantee too.

Just phone the Guarantors, and get them to come and inspect the Work done., it can't be Condensation because all new Windows now have Vents above in the Frame work.

If it was done by anybody else, I hope you have a Receipt with an Address and Phone number,if you haven't you may be in Trouble.

You could contact your Trading Standards Office and Report it.

One problem when you first fit new windows is lack of ventilation especially if your old ones were draughty. Lifestyle, eg cooking bathing etc can put a lot of moisture in the air and newer bathrooms and kitchen have extractors fitted as standard to overcome this problem. If your new windows have trickle vents at the top try leaving them open. Condensation is a common problem in older houses.

You shouldn't have any mould on new windows. Get the fitters back in to sort it out. The seals may not be fitter correctly.

either they not fitted properly or you not get enough ventilation. Try cleaning with bleach diluted with water it will clean it off and prevent further growth.
