I need some fun baby shower games. Who can give me some good ideas? And has anyone heard of a game where you use food and guess the body part? Ex: a piece of macaroni stands for the babys elbow.

Potatoe game. Have all the ladies put a potatoe between their legs and walk with it to the othere side of the room w/o dropping it, and drop it into a bowl. Whoever can do this the fastest w/o dropping the potaoe before getting to the bowl wins a prize. Another game is getting laundry clips in one hand and using the one hand to clip onto a hanger, w/o dropping the clips see how many the ladies can clip the pins to the hanger with only one hand. Whoever gets the most pinned wins a prize. Last game. take toilet paper and have the ladies guess how big the mom is around the belly w/o touching her. Whoever guesses the closest wins. These games were played at my baby shower and we had a blast !!!!

Freeze the little plastic babies to make ice. Give each person ice with a baby in it to put in their drink. The first baby that comes out the ice wins.
Pass around a roll of crepe paper. Each person tears off a piece that is the length around the pregnant girl. whoever is the closest wins.
Use a paper plate, ribbon & bows from the gifts to make a bonnet for the mother.
Get a box and put some baby items in it. uncover the box for 1 min & cover again. Have the player write down what they saw in the box. Person with the most items wins.
Put the pacifer on the babies mouth. It is the same thing as pin the tail on the donkey except you are trying to put the pacifier on the baby's mouth.

trying the baby food ( removing the labels and giving everyone a spoon). You pass the jars around and everyone has to guess ( on a paper) what it is. You can use meats, fruits, veggies...fun and people laugh a lot.
Also there is an ongoing game that I like...when your guests arrive you give then each a ribbon ( or a small rattle) and tell them they cannot say the word "baby" if someone hears a person say it, they steal their ribbon and at the end of the party whoever has the most, wins. a great game when people don't know each other well, gets then talking.
Also toilet paper around the belly, everyone rips off toilet paper squares to what they think is the circumference of the mother to Be's belly whoever is closest wins

Can you guess the baby food?
This free game involves getting five different kinds of baby food. Take the labels off the jars and mark the bottom of the jar with a number 1-5. Set them down in an area where guests can examine and smell them. Have everybody write down what type of baby food they think is in each jar. The guest with the most correct answers wins this baby game.
Guess what baby items are in the bag?
Place 10- 15 commonly used baby items in a large paper bag. Give each guest a pen and a sheet of paper. Let each guest stick their hand in the bag, touching the items, without looking. After each guest has had their turn, let them write down as many items as they can remember on their sheet of paper. The guest with the most correct answers wins!

Baby shower games are so much fun!!
1) Pass out white paper plates and pencils to all the guests. Tell them to write their name on it. Have them put the plate on top of their head and tell them they have to draw a baby. Give them about a minute or so. Collect them all and have the new mommy to be choose the one she likes best and that's the winner. Make sure you share all the drawings with everyone.
2) Have your guests bring a pair of baby socks to the party. When you have them all gathered up, put them on a table or floor and give your guest 30 seconds to try to match up as many pairs as possible. The person with the most pairs wins!
3) Memory game with a twist. Put baby items in a basket or box, have the mommy to be walk around with it, after everyone has taken a look she will go inside for a while. All the guests will be so concentrated on the box that they will not even notice the mommy to be. Tell them instead of writing down the baby items they have to write down in details what the mommy to be was wearing. They will all get a kick out of this one. Try to do this game at the beginning of the party.

you go buy jars of baby food and take off the labels.. but with a permonant marker you put an a on the bottom of one, then a b on the next and c on the next and so forth....
then you make sure you have a list of paper with jar A.. green beans ( or whatever you choose)
some of those jars are very hard to guess what the food is...
another game is. each guest gets a baby bottle, and you put water in it. the first one to suck the bottle empty wins
or there is the game in which you have to unscramble the words related to a baby. first one done wins.
there was this game with baby pins.. and the person who ended up with the most baby pins on their shirt at the end won. something. but can remember the game. sorry

I'm sure if you googled "baby shower ideas" you could find a bunch... here are some that we played at my baby shower - 1) everytime you said the word "baby" whoever caught you saying the word would take away a diaper pin ( you got like 5 at the start) and at the end of the party, whoever had the most pins got a prize. 2) belly casting - get a casting kit, cast the belly and have everyone sign it with a nice message to the mother and babe. 3) baby food guessing game - 10 bottles of baby food ( labels covered) - whomever tastes and guesses the most correctly wins. 4) baby bingo - played like bingo , only with names of baby items such as diaper, crib, playpen etc 5) match the baby with the celebrity parents ( works great for babies with odd names like Jett, Apple, Suri etc

We always play the memory game ,you take a tray and put lots of baby items on it let every one take a turn looking at it then hide the tray and give everyone a minute to see who can remember what was on it . We also play guess what the baby ate you take ten or so diapers put different baby food in them and let people guess what it is

Give everyone a pin w/ a ribbon on it or something like that and let them know that they can not say Baby (or something else that would be said often at the party) and if someone does say it then the person who heard it and called them on it gets to take their pin. The person w/ the most pins wins a prize.

My favorite is baby bingo. Everyone gets a bingo card with pictures or words on it that represent possible gifts she might open. When one of them is opened they cross out the square until they get bingo.
My least favorite as someone else mentioned in the really old clothespin game. I never would participate in that one. I just thought it was really lame. But I guess some people like it.
