I've recently started having sex about 5 months ago, i'm not prgnant, but I have been feeling sick and as if I'm getting fat, my period has been coming and going on and off for the past 2 months. I don't know if this is normal. If you know what is up, please tell me.

You sound like a very young lady who has begun to discover feelings that have not been fully explained to you. If I am right, you need to give your body a chance to "regulate" itself. You may be pregnant (and you probably don't want to hear that). You need to talk to an adult you feel comfortable talking to and see a doctor. Having sex is a wonderful experience as long as you "know" what you are doing and "know" what is happening with your body. Learn every inch of your body. You have not stated you were having "safe" sex (condoms/birth control), therefore, you really need to see a doctor. For your protection and mental well-being, please see a doctor. There are free clinics out there with a lot of information for young ladies in your predicament.

It sounds to me like you are pregnant. You can still get your period even when you are pregnant. Especially erratically like you are. I would take a test just to be sure. If it comes back negative I would make an appointment to see your doctor. It could be something serious like fibroid tumors (which are not cancerous) or ovarian cysts. Both of which will make you feel really bloated and like you are gaining tons of weight. Call your doctor....it is up to you to take care of you!!

If you think you are not pregnant because you have been getting your period, I'd take a pregnancy test. Some women get their period all through pregnancy.

could just be hormones. have you taken a pregnancy test? i'd advise that just to cancel that out. if not, just go see your doc, get a pap and ask for some birth control contraceptive (i personally like the pills...they will make your periods regular). :)

those are classic symptoms of pregnancy hun, you need to call your doctor to have a more reliable test done, either way you need to see a doctor, because if you are not pregnant you may need to switch to a birth control pill to regulate your periods.
