Ah, sounds to me like you are filling out applications. I always dreaded that "philosophy of education" question. I don't know if you can find examples on-line or not. I just made something up. I thought of the ideal situation and what I would want my students to leave my class with and then I went on from there. If you had been teaching a while, you would probably change your philosophy, but if you are still in school, or just beginning to teach it is a tough question.

That's a great question! I've never really known what that meant and I taught for 16 years! In my experience, it didn't matter what your philosophy was, you just had to do what you were told.

Anyway, try About.com. They have a lot of good stuff about teaching. Also, just to let you know since you sound like a student, Teacher-Teacher.com is a site that will let you post your resume and credentials on line and will help find you a job anywhere in the world. (I wish I knew about it when I was single.) Good luck!
