pop music just means "popular music". and the world will always have popular music. Think of it this way... Elvis and The Beatles are considered pop music. You may not be a fan of today's pop music just like there were people who were not a fan of Elvis or The Beatles for the same reason.

No ... and luv.. to break down pop music..

It simply means POPULAR.. music.. so todays POPULAR music.. with never die.. though todays POPULAR music will be old 5, 10, 20 years from now. Then is will either be called old school.. or classical.. Which is yesteryears POPULAR music..

So.. POP music wll never die.. there will always be something people want to hear sing or listen to that is by vitue POPULAR.. even if it is crap.

Well like the last answer said, at one time Elvis and the Beatles were considered "pop". Well the one difference is that they were actually talented. Today's artists rarely even write their own music. It's pretty sad.

pop means popular-what was popular once isnt today and so it will grow tomorrow if your on the record cutting edge then your music will probably be the popular music of tomorrow and you may have moved on to the new cutting edge music-david in amazing grace
