Dont lend him anything, they can ell you immediately if youve won or not and for that sort of win youd have to go to camelot head office and they would give you the cheque there and then.

DO NOT LEND ANY MONEY - If he really needs money tell him to go to the bank!!!

I keep getting all kinds of lottery prizes, African Chiefs who
have died and there are no survivors so they want me to
receive the money on behalf of the deceased on a 40/60%
cut, the 40 is for me and the 60 is for the lawyer, so they need
my full details in order to deposit the funds in my account ......
and so it goes on and on. It is all spam mail, so be careful.
If you have any personal contact tell them to put the money up
front, by email it is most likely spam mail. And winning without
a ticket, or ticket that was retained by the lottery or the likes, it is
daylight robbery. Careful, your story sounds like someone is
trying to take you for a ride.

He's lying. They can verify the ticket immediately, and so give him the cheque.

Tell them you don't have the money to lend them. Never lend anyone money unless you can afford to lose it.
