I got rid of it once for two weeks, then it came back. I downloaded Zone Alarm, that got rid of it for two months, now it's back again. Can I get rid of this permanently? Without buying it? How? Does anyone else have this problem? If you don't know what it is, please don't answer. Thanx in advance.

I will make this easy for you. Download superantispyware. It will remove all of popcorn.net. It is VERY effective and it is free.

I had that beast of a program/virus on my computer. It is very important to first look at the popup window and record the account number and call popcorn.net and cancel the so called service or they might try to charge you. Also I would recommend going to Firefox rather than windows explorer after following the advice of the first poster and the link.

Someone else had this issue and seems they used adaware spyware removal, get that here, then also get these free programs that stop things from installing, and changing things. I use all of these.. all free..
