No, it is not wrong in wanting to drop out of college for health reasons. An idea if your wife is uncomfortable with it is to maybe take a leave of absence. An idea is maybe to email or call your college advisor about what to do next. However, if you paid any money into the semester, it will probably not be refunded since it is pretty late into the semester.

Consult with a doctor if you think your health issues are affecting your education. You can also talk with counselors at your school to see if any accomadations can be made to resolve any issues you have. Education is very important make sure leaving it is the last resort. Higher education brings more opportunities for career sucess etc. But family/ the relationship with your wife is more important. Why would your wife be against you getting a better education? Is it intruding of me to ask what are you Issues/Reasons? You will recieve more thorough answers to your question...
If your doctor says it will hurt your health or if your relationship will be damaged I would recommend dropping out, with the intention of returning later to finish what you started, .....of course.

if your health issues are that bad, you know you have to think about yourself first. your education is important but your health and love is more important. If you don't think that you would be able to handle such stress as school right now, then drop out. Do what feels right, if when you drop out, it doesn't feel right, then don't do it. You should also talk to your wife about it and see what she says.

If you can't continue schooling because of health reasons, then I think that is reason enough to quit. Just follow your heart and take your wife into consideration and do what you think best.

Your health comes first, if you are not healthy you will not be able to participate at a normal rate. It's a pity this problem has taken a toll on your life, take some time and try to get yourself back on track. Good luck

Do not use health as an excuse.Studying will help you .Why should your wife object? Discuss with her. Make up your mind. Steel your resolve. Get your degree. You will appreciate the decision later when you look back.

Talk to your dean or educational director. They will more than likely help you with some choices or a plan of action. Good luck. Sorry to hear you're ill.
