Hi,

have you heard about this new trend that consists of crossing out the word "God" on the dollar bills and write "us" instead, so it makes "In us we trust"

Do you do it?

Is this legal?

Thank you in advance.

Honestly I really don't carry cash on hand, I mostly use my cred cards. Also I really don't think thats being a hypocrite if you didn't. It's not like you made the money at home or something. You'd be a hypocrite if you were an Atheist and drove a car that said in big bold letters on the side saying "JESUS IS TRUTH" or "I BELIEVE IN GOD" that you put there yourself.......thats hypocrisy

It is illegal to deface currancy, so no, it is not legal to do this.

The people doing this have way too much time on their hands. Think of all the people they could be helping by using that energy to serve up soup at a homeless shelter. . .

But I wish my life was so worry free that all I had to worry about was the wording on my money. . .

Its actually a federal offense to deface currency. I think if people are so against the beliefs of this country, they shouldnt live here.

I don't know if it's illegal or not, but people need to remember that this country was founded by Christians who believed in God. I'm so sick of people coming here and then demanding that everything be changed to appease them. What about my rights, and the rights of the majority out there.

YES---MONEY OVER GOD--FIGURES.

DEFACING MONEY CAN BE ILLEGAL....
BUT WHO'S CARES. RIGHT--YOU DON'T--SO WHY NOT JUST CROSS OUT GOD AND PUT NOTHING?
OR ME...IN ME WE TRUST.
