If there is a job after the job you left for a reason you don't want to state then say that you left that job for the other one. Or you could always say that you left to pursue other opportunities.
I've left a couple of jobs in the past but I always had another one that followed so I just put...I accepted a position at such and such. Or Received a job as whatever at such and such.

I check app's so the best answer to your question is to say personal reason's and then in the interview you can either go into direct details or basically say I left due to family problems or felt it best to remove myself from a bad situation and leave it out

If you got another job you might say that you left for a better opportunity elsewhere because there was a poor work environment at the place you left.

if you were fired, dont say that, say that the compnay you worked for was downgraded, or your position was terminated.
if you left the company, and there was another company you went to work for, stated the reason for leaving the first one, was the second job offered more opportunity for growth.
if you left because of school : left for studies.
if you left because you no longer wanted to work in that particular field: you can put left industry for another.

Personally, I would just write 'present' or leave it blank. Processors will see by dates etc. that you are still working for the company and have not asked for reasons you wish to leave.

Tell them the truth. If you were fired from the job tell them that. IF you had to leave due to a lot of stress tell them that.

"To pursue opportunities elsewhere" or in another field. Bear in mind they may want to call your former employer as a reference so try to be as close to the truth as you can.
