Yes, INDIA can win.
Infact, any country can win Champions Trophy. This time there are no clear favorites. Countries like India, SriLanka, Pakistan, Australia, South Africa, NZ ... all have very good chance to win it. There is not much difference between them, any team can beat anyother team.
INDIA has a very good chance because they are playing at home, plus they are a good side. Winning ICC Champions Trophy will be big morale boaster for Indian team especially for preapration of World Cup.
This team is capable of winning Champions Trophy as well as World Cup - we just need couple of consistent bowlers like Munaf and Harbhajan.

Since cricket is a game of uncertainties as has been proved on number of occasions in the past as well as in the on going Champions Trophy, nothing can be predicted for sure about the
outcome of the tournament in advance.
As far as Champions Trophy 2006 is concerned, the tournament is wide open at this stage and it is not at all clear at this time which teams will qualify for the semi final berth.
India have 2 more matches to be played, one against West Indies and the other against Australia. If they win one match, they can hope to reach the semi final, which I feel is within their reach. Then the Trophy is only one match away.
I strongly feel that India can win the Champions Trophy if all their players perform to their potential consistently in the coming matches with fighting spirit and keeping national pride above personal interest.

India can win the champions trophy but it wasn't half chances to win world cup because India never play better outside India.

India has a few chances and India is 1 of my most favourite teams. But I think Sri Lanka has more chances. Their team has more chances cuz their players are in a very good condition and they also brought back a few of the best players from the entire squad like Jaysuriya, Attapatu, Sangakkara, Tharanga, Vaas, Muralitharan, Malinga etc. So, I think they have better chances to win the ICC championship.

They can, but they have two tough matches to follow. One against the Windies and the other against the Aussies. Both of them are unpredictable. (Dont you remember how the Windies smashed the Aussies recently?)
