difference between maritime study and logistics management?

well I cant tell you specifically but I work in the maritime industry so I can give you somewhat of an idea. maritime study which is a very general term can include anything from how to sail and be an ABS to how to stow vessels to how to charter them. Logisitcs management usually will have to deal with transport via ground or air and running a fleet. ie, if you worked for maersk and dispatched the trucks you could be considered a logistics manager....make sense?
