If your doctor has told you not to have sex, anal sex is not safe either. If you're allowed to have sex, anal sex should be ok.

I don't' think she is asking if you can get pregnant from having anal sex.

I think she is asking if you have a high risk pregnancy if anal sex is safe.

I would consult your doctor. Anything that is forceful and vigorous can be harmful if you have a high risk pregnancy.
If you are bed ridden I wouldn't think anal sex would be any safer than regular sex. Any kind of stimuli can trigger you to go into labour. Hence why they say that having sex and stimulating the breast to help bring on labour.

If your doctor says you can continue your normal sexual activities then yes it should be fine. The only cause for concern in a high risk pregnancy (as I am one too) is orgasms and possible bleeding from the cervix. The idea is not to "piss off" the cervix so to speak so that it stays closed and your baby stays protected. I wouldn't worry too much about anal sex honestly, it has nothing to do with your pregnancy. Good luck, and ask about it at your next dr.'s appt.

If most of you had read her question...she is already pregnant. She is not asking if she will get pregnant from anal sex she is asking if anal sex is safe during pregnancy!! Stepping off of soap box...
I would not risk having anal sex if you were told to not have regular intercourse. There is still pressure put on your uterus and your muscles do expand and contract during anal intercourse. Play it safe and avoid it. Good Luck!

Do you mean your partner is pregnant and at high risk, and you're asking if it's OK to have anal sex?

I would think so - you really need to feel around up there to judge for yourself whether it would affect the baby. What has your medical professional said? It could be that having an orgasm is not a good idea with a high risk preg..........

people are stupid, as for the first two answers you CAN get pregnant from ananl sex if the ejaculate runs out of her anus and into her vagina.

That wasn;t your question though, I would say no it is not safe. I am considered high risk and have been told by my doctor to refrain from ANY type of sexual activity at all.

No one seems to have read your ?
she ask if is safe to have it with a high risk pregnancy
I am not sure
but because you probably have to bend down or lift your feet higher I would say no
I think sex is unsafe not because of the man penis inside but because of the movements
so be safe than sorry wait after your baby is born

I'm not sure. If normal sex isn't safe then i'd give anal a miss aswell. don't risk it - it's not worth it.

if you can't have sex, you can't have anal either. Even tho its not exactly where the baby is, and its close..it can cause problems. I asked my doc the same question (cause I can't have intercourse). The answer was NO! sorry!
