Failure is pretty much a part of everyday life whether its the small or the big things. The important thing is to accept failure. Yeah I admit realizing you've failed at something is pretty hard to take and deal with and yes you're allowed your time to reflect on things but you have to also allow the healing process to take place and just have some closure. Failure can be the end of something or it can be a step to success, it depends on what you're working towards to try and attain. Ultimately sometimes failure can be a good thing, it gives you a new outlook on certain things. Frankly I say take what you can out of failure and move on.

Great question, and one I've pondered over a lot recently. A perspective that I've developed is that life isn't about "Success" vs "Failure," rather its purpose is as a journey of learning. So, if I'm learning, then that's all I really need, isn't it? What to do then is let go of my judgment of myself ("I shouldn't have done this," etc) and just watch. Be aware, and treat it as an adventure intended to help me to learn something. This takes some practice, but I am starting to see some massive benefits to trying! I just wrote an article about dealing with failure, which includes this and a little bit more--I'll share it with you as the source if you're interested. Thanks for the question!

A lot of famous people have failed at things. Sometimes failure is just a prelude to success. When you fail at something, take a look at why you failed and resolve to learn from that experience. Here's a native american quote to think of when you are faced with a failure: "Endeavor to persevere"...

Exactly: what is failure?
Let us remember that the results of our mistakes now were our dreams some time ago!
Also, our life is proceeding. Every moment is unique and never returns, thus, I enjoy every one, regardless of what is considered failure or success!
The real failure is to do not enjoy everything in our lives!

by thinking positive and keeping in the back of your mind the belief that you only learn from failure and not from success. keep the faith. failure is the first step to knowledge as long as you are willing to try and not give up on your dreams and goals.
