Is there a certain amount of time you have to file divorce papers in Florida?

My fiance has been seperated for a number of years, he filed for divorce and all the paper work is ready to be filed, We have to come up with the money for the filing fee.. Is there a certain amount of time the papers have to be filed?

i don't know the law in florida, but call and ask a lawyer or your county clerks office--good luck
