he was unstoppable in greco-roman before he lost to rulon gardner in the gold medal match of the 2000 summer olympics. before he lost, he was undefeated for years. in fact, he failed to give up a point in the 6 years leading to that match.
my next guess would be dan severn who fought in the initial UFC tournaments.
